Destroyer es una banda con influencias pop, art pop, new wave, post-punk… liderada por el canadiense Dan Bejar, conocido internacionalmente por ser parte de The New Pornographers o, entre otros conjuntos, de Swan Lake.

Otro miembro de Destroyer (y también de los New Pornographers), el multi-instrumentista John Collins, ejerce tareas de producción.

“Labyrinthitis” es su decimotercer álbum en estudio.

La portada es una pintura de Sydney Hermant.

Una de las canciones del disco se titula “Tintoretto, It’s For You”… Do you remember the mythic beast? a last-minute cancellation at The Last Supper, oh you’ve prepared such an exquisite feast, he said,
