Miembro del grupo Animal Collective, Avey Tare, de nombre real David Portner, debuta en solitario con “Down There”, un disco psicodélico y experimental que incluye temas como “Laughing Hieroglyphic” o “3 Umbrellas”.

El álbum se edita en Paw Tracks, el propio sello de los Animal Collective.

Uno de los singles se inspira en su título en un clásico literario de Charles Dickens, “Oliver Twist”… when I look through the door of my lean-to, I don’t know another lean room from my room, should I pull up the floor of my kitchen…
