david-bowie-directo-welcome-blackout-albumParlophone edita un álbum en directo de David Bowie que recoge actuaciones del músico británico el 30 de junio y el 1 de julio del año 1978 durante la gira “Isolar II Tour” y en el período de la trilogía Berlín, aunque cante temas de su etapa glam rock y plastic soul.

Bowie estuvo acompañado en la gira por los guitarristas Carlos Alomar y Adrian Belew, el bajista George Murray, el batería Dennis Davis y, entre otros, los teclistas Roger Powell y Sean Mayes.

El disco, producido por Tony Visconti, contiene canciones como “Heroes”, “Fame”, “Suffragette City”… No podía faltar tampoco su clásico “Ziggy Stardust”… Ziggy played guitar, jamming good with Weird and Gilly and the spiders from Mars, he played it left hand but made it too far, became the special man, then we were Ziggy’s band… so where were the spiders while the fly tried to break our balls with just the beer light to guide us, so we bitched about his fans and should we crush his sweet hands?…
