Kimbra (“Vows”, “The Golden Echo”), de nombre completo Kimbra Lee Johson, es una cantante neozelandesa con sonidos pop, jazz, soul, art pop, tecno, dance pop… e influencias diversas (Björk, Nina Simone, Prince…).

“Primal Heart” es su tercer álbum en estudio, un trabajo discográfico editado en Warner que ha sido producido por la propia Kimbra con colaboraciones de John Congleton, Timon Martin o, entre otros, Andrew Maury.
