Dave Gahan, el cantante principal del grupo británico new wave/tecno pop Depeche Mode, publica “Imposter” en asociación con los Soulsavers, dúo de música rock y electrónica formado por Ian Glover y Rich Machin.
El álbum, lleno de versiones, se edita en Columbia con producción de Gahan y Machin.
Es la tercera colaboración entre Dave Gahan y Soulsavers.
Entre los músicos que colaboraron en la grabación se encuentran el bajista Martyn LeNoble (Jane’s Addiction, Porno For Pyros, Mark Lanegan…), el batería Kevin Bales (The Killing Floor, Spiritualized…), el teclista Sean Read (Dexys Midnight Runners, Birdie…) y los guitarristas James Walbourne (Dead Flamingoes, The Pretenders…) y Tony Foster (Be, Spiritualized…).
